Sooooo.is there something going on here between the CPU, Win 11, and the SSD? I would think that, regardless of Threads used, the performance would be consistent, but this is not the case. Then I reran the same performance test with the THREAD value set to "8." The IOPS performance increased. Under "SETUP BENCHMARK > RANDOM READ/WRITE SECTIONS > THREAD" What I found peculiar is that this *might* be related to the AMD processor? Maybe? Using the Samsung Magician Performance Benchmark, I noticed the following observations: There is conflicting data that suggests its Windows 11, that its Samsung, and frankly.I'd just like to see the industry fix it one way or the other. The random read/write IOPS is poor, and has been dismal, for months. A previous version 7.1.xx was removed from distribution for some reason) Installed latest Samsung Magician Software (as of 4/20/22 there was a role back to 7.0.1. I have 2x Samsung Pro 980 SSDs (Windows 11 is exclusively installed on 1 of them that drive is solely dedicated to Windows 11 other drive is for PC game storage) AMD Ryzen 9 5900X on a ASUS Dark Hero VIII MB (more on this in a sec) Fresh installation of Windows 11 (all available hardware/software drivers are updated/current) I was really hoping this would fix itself, but after months of seeing no "fix" in sight, I'm left wondering if Samsung is even aware? Here's what's going on:
